The Ship Inn, Weybourne - at the heart of the village.
No matter how you arrive at Weybourne, you will have your breath taken away. Whether you travel in on the spectacular North Norfolk Railway, or drive in on one of the roads coming into the village, "wow" will come to mind.
Be it the views of Weybourne Hope from the Sheringham Road or the glimpses of the perfect blue sea over the heath and hedgerows from Bodham and Holt; you realise that when you see this hidden gem on the North Norfolk coast you have found somewhere very special indeed.
The Ship Inn Weybourne reopened under new management on the 1st of July 2007, with Terry Rayner and his partner Claire at the helm. Terry will greet you with a smile and a cheery welcome. He has a wealth of experience to his name, including 8 years as the catering manager at Norfolk’s largest golfing complex. Before that he worked for Abacus Hotels, based in West Norfolk and he has now taken the step of running his own establishment. Although Claire does not work at the restaurant her influences are everywhere for all to enjoy; whether it is the decorative ornaments or the amazing photographs sourced from local landscape photographer Steven Brooks. Her touches have made the venue a warm, friendly, traditional yet modern place to visit.
Priding itself on sourcing only the best local produce and ales, The Ship Inn is a mesmerising mix of traditional hospitality blended with modern food and style, making it the perfect place to bring family and friends for a meal, or to relax in front of the wood burner with a good book and a great pint.
