The bar at The Ship Inn is a happy friendly place; whether it is Terry's
cheery welcome or Marc's expert knowledge of ales, it is always a delightful place to be.
Our Bar Team was joined by Bar Manager Marc Crane in March 08. Marc has many years of experience, having worked in the pub trade since he was old enough to pull a pint. He has extensive experience of The Ship Inn, having worked here for the previous landlord for a number of years as well as working in a number establishments both in North Norfolk and further afield. The Ship Inn has been in the Good Beer Guide for many years we are pleased to say that we are again in the 2009 guide. Beer at The Ship is very important to us and we believe that the breweries of Norfolk should be represented so we have taken the stance of only serving ales that have been brewed within the county. Regular ales at the ship include Yetmans of Holt, Humpty Dumpty from Reedham and Woodfordes of Woodbastwick.
The bar area although very popular with the locals, is also an area where the holiday maker or visitor can mingle in a friendly and informal environment. The Ship Inn offers a comprehensive wine selection; listing over 30 bottles, all of which can be purchased either by the glass or bottle.
