The ship strives to do as much as possible to be responsible to the environment that we live in. Some of the steps that we have already made are the recycling of all glass, paper and cardboard products - this enables us to cut our waste to landfill down to just 20%. We are still looking for ways to reduce this further; the possibilities of composting are being looked into; this would shave another 10% off our waste.
Currently all waste paper is reused as waiter pads, before being recycled and it is our aim to have 100% of all light bulbs to be low-energy bulbs by 2008.
We are lucky to live and work in a fantastic part of the world - we want to keep it that way!
